You Have the Wrong Tracking Number

If you received your tracking number from a third-party, such as a seller, contact them to double-check you have the correct information.

The Website Is Overwhelmed or Down

The official website cannot handle large numbers of traffic, which, unfortunately, makes the site go down or disables its tracking function.

Alternatively, the site may be down for updates, so you’ll need to wait for it to come back online.

Why Your POS Laju Package Is Not Updating or Moving

Suppose your Pos Laju package tracking isn’t updating and doesn’t show movement.

Factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic or Movement Control Orders (MCO) could affect updating tracking.

If you have reason to believe that neither of those reasons factor in as to why your package tracking hasn’t been updated, consider the following:

Understaffing Issues

Many places are currently understaffed and overworked, partially due to the effects of COVID-19. Pos Laju is not an exception.

There are days when less staff is available to work, which in turn causes delays in updating the tracking status.

Additionally, overworked staff may forget to scan your tracking number to update it every step of the way.

Fewer Vehicles Available

Occasionally, there are fewer moving vehicles available. If your package isn’t moving, there’s nothing to update.

POS Laju Package Tracking Status Explained

You’ll want to know what each update means when tracking your POS Laju package. What does each status update mean, and why?

In transit

When your package is in transit, you will see various updates.

Item Posted Over the Counter

The package was received by Pos Laju and postage was paid for.

Item Dispatched Out

This update will show several times along the package’s journey.

Whenever the package leaves a postal center, there will be an update that it has been dispatched.

For example, you can expect to see updates that read “Item dispatched out PUSA MEL NASIONAL” or “Item dispatched out MAIL PROCESSING CENTER SIBU.”

Item Processed

You’ll see this update when your item has been processed through a postal center.

Arrived at the Delivery Facility

A bit misleading, you might see this more than once during your package’s journey.

For example, your package may arrive at a delivery facility at Pusat POS Laju Sibu and be updated the following day for having arrived at the delivery facility at Pajabet POS Matu.

Item Out for Delivery

Exactly as you would expect: your package is out for delivery.

Depending on where you live, your local POS Laju staff might be unable to deliver it to your house personally. In that case, you’ll receive a different update.

Held by Customs

This is the status update every recipient hates to see.

Your item could be held for a variety of reasons, including the package value is too high or the import of an illegal item.

If customs hold your package, your status update will further read:

“Held by customs. To appoint POS as agent for clearance arrangements, provide invoice/receipt via www.pos.com.my/#AskPOS.”

It will also let you know which customs office your package is being held at, for example, “℅ Kastam Sibu.”
