OnTrac DirectPost is a last-mile logistics company that oversees regional shipping couriers in the Western United States In its infancy, OnTrac was exclusively a carrier service for Californian document shippers who wanted an alternative to other overnight delivery services that existed.
It was then formed as an affordable next-day carrier option to deliver for customers from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
Since 2020, OnTrac has transported packages for around 20 percent of the United States population.
These customers choose OnTrac because of its excellent customer service, the reliable technology they used to carry out their deliveries, and high-quality handling practices for delivering their customers’ packages.
OnTrac recently started doing DirectPost services for high-volume shipping customers.
The service delivers shipments to the nearest Post Office faster than traditional services. OnTract DiectPost partners with the USPS network to give customers a more affordable cost.
OnTrac DirectPost does not deliver illegal items. They can also refuse to deliver cash, negotiable instruments, stamps, coins, jewelry, precious metals, original artwork, antiques, one-of-a-kind items, furs, live animals, alcohol, fuel, tobacco, hazardous goods, bodily fluids, medical marijuana, or fragile items.
OnTrac DirectPost is designed for packages that are less than one pound. These packages are required to be no larger than 24″x17″x17″, and the maximum weight of boxes is 150 pounds.
OnTrac DirectPost primarily delivers the USPS package Select and package Select Lightweight.
OnTrac DirectPost is a regional courier service that only ships to certain states in the United States. These states are California and the metro areas of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Idaho.
Unfortunately, you can not track your package on the OnTrac DirectPost Package tracker without the tracking number.
If you lose your tracking number, you can contact customer service at 800.334.5000. You can also get the tracking number can also from the merchant or shipper.
OnTrac DirectPost only delivers during the week. Your package will arrive by the end of the business day of your scheduled delivery day.
OnTrac DirectPost does not ship internationally. It is a ground-based carrier service, it does not offer fly shipments.
Shipments from California to other states can take up to two days. Commercial letter-post packages are delivered within four to nine days.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, OnTrac DirectPost will make an additional three delivery attempts.
OnTrac will contact the shipper for instructions if the delivery is still unsuccessful. Additional fees may then be applied for re-deliveries and returns.
To sign for your package, simply sign your name on the electronic device provided by the courier to accept the package.
If you haven’t received your package by the expected delivery time, you should give OnTrac a one-hour grace period.
If an hour passes and the package still has not been delivered check for a status update using the package tracker.
If there is no update explaining the delay, you should contact OnTrac’s customer service at 800.334.5000.
If the shipment is not delivered during the one-hour grace period, you would be entitled to a refund of shipping charges.

If the package can not be located, you have 30 days to make a claim, you can do so by emailing Claims@OnTrac.com
OnTrac will make another delivery attempt the following business day. They will make a maximum of three attempts.
If you cannot accept the package, you should contact the customer service department at 800.334.5000 and arrange a time that you are available.
Your package will be held until it is considered non-deliverable. OnTrac deems a package non-deliverable if three delivery attempts were made, the package was refused, the consignee moved, or they need to collect cash on delivery (COD) and you cannot do this.
If your package is deemed non-deliverable, OnTrac will contact the shipper for instructions, additional fees may then be applied for re-deliveries and returns.
The time your package arrives depends on the service selected. OnTrac Ground shipments can be delivered by the end of the day or within two to three days.
Packages sent using the Sunrise service are delivered by noon or 2 pm on Saturdays.
DirectPost by OnTrac is a cost-effective service for small, lightweight packages and can take between three and five days.
The delivery time for all the other services varies, and OnTrac DirectPost cannot schedule a specific delivery window for day-definite deliveries. You should track your package using the tracking number for an accurate delivery time.
You can get an updated location of your package by entering the tracking number into the OnTrac DirectPost package tracker and selecting ‘track my package.’
Each time your package moves through a tracker event, it will be scanned and its location updated in the tracker. This way you can know where your package is as well as when was its last movement updated.
Your tracking number can be found on the receipt in your email received from the seller or manufacturer. It may also be found on the manifest, the waybill, or the shipping report.
If you can’t find your tracking number, you should contact the sender/merchant or OnTrac’s customer service department at 800.334.5000 for help.

If your shipment arrives late, you must send a refund request 15 days from the invoice date. Email a spreadsheet file to GSRequest@OnTrac.com with your account number, invoice number, tracking number, and transportation charges.
Your package may be pending because it is awaiting an update from the sender or courier. Once there is an update, tracking updates will be added to the tracker. If your package has been pending longer than expected, please contact OnTrac’s customer service department at 800.334.5000.
